Liquid Glass Telegram

Telegram (Concept Redesign) is a UI/UX redesign concept focused on improving navigation, chat prioritization, and overall interaction flow within the app while staying close to native iOS patterns. The core change is a new tab-based navigation inspired by Safari, where chat groups are accessed by swiping on the page title instead of using an additional top tab bar. This approach reduces visual noise and makes navigation faster and more natural. Pinned chats are reworked into a stronger visual hierarchy, displayed as large avatars at the top of the screen. Since only a limited number of chats can be pinned, this solution keeps the interface clean and opens space for future extensions, such as stories appearing in the same horizontal row.

Inside chats, groups, and comments, the header was redesigned to feel more native to iOS, while the bottom of the screen remains intentionally empty unless content is pinned. Previously cluttered controls were moved into a contextual “More” menu next to the chat title, leaving only essential actions visible. The back button now includes an unread-chats indicator for the current folder, helping users instantly understand activity without opening extra screens. Notifications triggered from pinned elements no longer appear as full-screen modals; instead, they expand directly from the pinned area, appearing exactly where the user interacts, which feels faster, cleaner, and more intuitive.

This redesign improves readability, reduces unnecessary UI friction, and makes daily navigation through chats noticeably faster. By simplifying visual structure and prioritizing high-value interactions, the concept demonstrates how Telegram could increase user engagement, reduce cognitive load, and create a more fluid messaging experience—especially for users managing a large number of chats and groups every day.
