GERC

GERC is a Ukrainian payment service that brings utility bills, mobile top-ups, traffic fines, kindergarten payments and other city and government services into one app. This project was a redesign of the existing GERC mobile application, focused on making everyday payments faster, clearer and less frustrating. I reworked the information architecture, simplified navigation and payment flows, and introduced a consistent dark UI with GERC’s signature yellow accent.

The new experience puts the amount due and the main payment action front and center, while payment history, profiles, meter readings and additional services are easier to find. As a result, the product became more predictable and easier to use across different payment scenarios. +8% payment completion, -17% time from app launch to payment. The redesign provided GERC with a scalable interface for an app already used by 50K+ Android users.
