We aren't sure exactly what kind of stone this buddha was carved out of, but color of the stone is black and it has a nice sheen to it. The carving on the pendant is pretty well done; the figure of the buddha is well distinguished. At the top of the buddha's head a silver loop has been attached. The loop is about 2mm in diameter.
