Heeney is a magical little town that sits in the shadow of the Gore Range one of the burliest mountain ranges in Colorado. There are no easy access routes, and many of the peaks are still unnamed. They are mysterious and powerful. Once you turn off the main road going from Silverthorne to Kremmling and head west towards Heeney, it feels like driving into another dimension.
