Union South Africa PRISONS SERVICE Cap/helmet Owen 1949 Everything Else Warrant Officer Rank BadgeThis is a lot of two badges as worn by the Union of South Africa PRISON Services on helmet or cap. Owen 1949. Both white metal and the same design except the Crown has been removed from one. The base of the removed crown has been smoothed over and I would say take off for a reason. Both excellent stampings. Both lug fasteners. I am not sure why the Crown removed but appears to have been done purposely. Control #WS6481
