with a lot of guard hairs which suggest it is a hair/wool sheep cross

Sheepskin #5 - 15" x 18" madder Sheepskin collar and instead mostly handworkThis extra small sheepskin has very short wool, mostly under 2" and has been dyed with alum & madder root & a little logwood to a cool pink. Perfect size for a bassinet! The last photo shows it on top in comparison to the other dyed sheepskins. The leather side is free of any holes.
