This listing is for a wooden ema from Kashihara Jingu Shrine in Nara. Kashihara Jingu was built in 1890 at the site where Emperor Jimmu was said to have acceded to the throne in the year 660. The front of the ema is decorated with three white snake ornaments, and was most likely purchased to commemorate the Year of the Snake back in 2001.
