Munn) George Basil Munn was born in Montreal and moved to Toronto at a young age. He joined the 180th Battlion (Sportsmen) CEF in Toronto in March, 1916. Prior to joining the CEF he worked at Eaton's as a printer. Whilst in England, he was transferred to the 123rd Pioneer Battalion and proceeded to France with them in March, 1917. He was killed in action by a German shell, along with several other
