Eight mana for a 5/5 flying, lifelink, haste, exalted creature is fine, but being able to convoke this onto the board faster thanks to your army of vampires makes this a fun bomb to drop

without enough factions or cards overall to build Commander decks, the reduced number of cards in the set also meant that standard boosters wouldnt be a good fit

If you want an alternative to fill Sauron, Lord of the Ringss spot as this decks commander, Saruman, the White Hand is definitely a great choice

that doesnt mean I think its bad or that youre bad for playing them, and to be clear, this is for casual EDH only
