As Timothy Zaccagnino said when I asked for his opinion about this topic, I think the onus is partly on the player to say to themselves that they don't need everything that comes out, and I find it interesting and exciting that people can play cards against me in 2023 that I'd never seen before

You can use it to trade some life for card advantage while throwing it out of any annoying creatures coming your way

You can also keep the menace counter and make blocking even tougher later in the game

It would be nice if Shops had access to a main deck card that could help them take game one of a match against Dredge (aside from the usual Wasteland plan), but this card probably isn't worth it
