Once you reach the phase of the game where you can afford to do multiple things per turn, you need card draw to ensure you keep having things to do (Circle of Power, Fight On!, Travel the Overworld) or at least cards which can be used multiple times (flashback spells, Ring of the Lucii, Shambling Cieth, Relentless X-ATM092)
The Emerald & Steel deck includes the rare Scar, Vengeful Lion, a neat little draw engine that punishes your opponents for challenging your characters too much, and a super rare Floodborne Kronk, Head of Security, which gives you a chance to play a free character anytime Kronk banishes another character in a challenge
While standard booster packs are filled with strategically viable tools, it is the Enchanted rarity cards that serve as the true crown jewels of the set
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may put a creature card exiled with Chaos Shrines Black Crystal onto the battlefield under your control with a finality counter on it
With 204 cards, there's only so much flexibility to the meta, and Ive gotten tired of seeing the same decks week after week
