My thought is that when we run into back stamp cards whatever card that was on the opposing sheet (card front) was effected in one of two ways

It's an entertaining one that works really well in formats where you can easily put cards back in your hands, and is especially good on legendary cards because it keeps extra copies of them from being redundant
