Its hard to attack through all their tokens, but Cryptolith Rite decks tend to be good at winning without needing to attack, and G/W Tokens isnt good at killing them or disrupting their engine, but its difficult to design a Cryptolith Rite deck thats actually good at winning a game against an opponent who can regularly kill all of their creatures with Archangel Avacyn, Tragic Arrogance, and Planar Outburst
You get to add to the board up front, then you get some food, and then you get a very real permanent buff A two mana 1/1 that reduces the cost of creature activated abilities by 1 isnot that exciting
That makes launching a counterattack on your opponents much more viable, and can help you to throw a character on their last legs at a much tougher foe and leave a real sting
Youre still likely climbing uphill here, but theres something poetic about giving them exactly what they want over and over and then punishing them for their greed
