We may not know for sure if this is the best step to take for the game, but its comforting to know that Ravensburger is at least thinking about the future
The goal of the deck is to play creatures and slap counters on them with cards like Maester Seymour then reward you for doing so, drawing you cards with Bred for the Hunt, giving them keywords with Sphere Grid, or protecting them with Inspiring Call, all while your creatures to continue to grow and bash in for more damage
At the same time, we work on Magic sets before you ever see them, and it's impossible to know what changes might be made to an actively shifting game
