Update: I've since acquired the missing holographic Torchic and have given the extra cards out to children in my neighborhood

It is likely with Pokmon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl's release at the end of the year that the Pokmon TCG will see a significant increase in value, especially within its Diamond, Pearl and Platinum sets

Aethedrift preview season has crossed the finish line (there are so many easy puns with this set) and after being a little dismissive of the set at first, I do think it shows a high enough power level to let a few new decks break out in Standard

That's pretty impressive

This is very impactful against pretty much any meta relevant deck right now
