Other expensive cards include, not surprisingly, iconic main characters like Sephiroth, Cloud, Lightning, Terra, and Clive, as well as summons like Knights of the Round and Bahamut
My Jalira deck works by summoning tokens and sacrificing them, then whipping huge monsters like Darksteel Colossus and Ancient Stone Idol, quirky beefcakes like Star Whale, big bodies with extra effects like Scourge of the Fleets, Phyrexian Ingester, and Sphinx of the Second Sun, and big ol fish like Stormtide Leviathan. (The deck would probably benefit from Eldrazi cards, but I find myself bored by them, so only two make an appearance)
That Hero token is equipped with the equipment which also gives it a creature type, a buff, and maybe an ability
