Victorian onyx and silver mourning locket Victorian cameo It is fully hallmarked forAn exceptional Victorian mourning locket in onyx and sterling silver. Heavy and a nice size this mourning locket is made from shiny black onyx with fancy lettering in silver to the front. Lettering reads IMO which is short for 'In Memory Of', the lightly patinated silver contrasts beautifully with the rich black onyx. It has a large silver bale to the top, the reverse of the locket has a glazed panel for a lock of hair, no hair there though.
