This is a good quality tan coloured leather case with curved lower corners

The spur is hallmarked London 1974 and has the silversmiths stamp of Garrard & Co

There is a mark on the heel of the handle where there would once have been a silver button with a maker's name - this is missing

The arms of the spur are curved to pass below the rider's ankle bone. The ends of the arms have the remains of circular holes or eyelets .
