1956 Olympic Games Participant’s Medal Great Britain Holey Dollar and Dump SeriesDesigned by Hungarian born sculptor Andor Mszros (19001973), who settled in Australia in 1939, this 63mm bronze medal was created for the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. Mszros, known for his large religious and commemorative works, captured both classical strength and modern spirit in this design. The obverse features Melbournes coat of arms, Olympic rings, and a kangaroo framed by floral motifs. On the reverse, an athlete raises the Olympic flag
