After losing the title to Clubber and witnessing the death of his trainer Mickey, his wife slips into a coma during the birth of their child. All is not lost however as Rocky returns to the ring to face Mr T again after being trained by fomer opponent Apollo Creed. He succeeds on knocking out Clubber Lang, thus regaining the title he lost.
