With 23 photos in continuous change, the book was instigated by the performance Zeth (1993), Zeth presents a series of 23 toned photographs of pine needles, at first densely packed inside a circular border, the needles become more sparse in each successive photograph, patterns begin to emerge out of the chaos, and by the end we see that the artist is creating
