I had photographed many sunrises this year and wanted to focus my attention on the wildflowers of Wildflower Park

but with a camera I could be so much more

it also gave off a reddish hue to the crab apple tree

late afternoon clouds break apart revealing the suns warmth along the South Fork Kishwaukee River in Northern Illinois

About 2 pm the clouds started to break and I decided that I would catch the sunset at Wildflower Lake in a couple hours
