I was looking to photograph the wildflowers and sunrise on this day in the park

As I was walking along the path

I headed out to photograph the sunrise and wildflowers

A thick heavy fog surrounds the park on this wet morning as I make my way through the park only to be able to see about 50 yards ahead

A SOFT LIGHT OF THE CATTAIL Size:16X24 GALLERY WRAP In the distanceI had been photographing the wildflowers and sunrise for about forty five minutes now when this scene unfolded. With the sun breaking the horizon just above the box elder trees that line the banks of Eakin Creek West, the morning sun produced a soft light that illuminated this prairie landscape scene with a cattail emerging from the wetland at Wildflower Park.
