2022 Lapo Berti, Dolcetto, Dogliani Vintage_2019 As one of the region'sLapo Berti represents a newer generation working in the hills of Dogliani, where Dolcetto has long been the local grape of choice. While much of the Langhe built its reputation on Barolo and Barbaresco, Dogliani has quietly remained one of the purest expressions of Dolcetto in Piedmont. The vineyards here sit on compact clay and limestone soils that tend to give the wines a little more structure and depth than Dolcetto grown elsewhere in the region.
