Small Round Vessels Michelle Bishop This unique print captures theThese small vessels are hand built using brown sculpture clay, assembled using soft slabs and coils. The slabs are textured by stamping, folding, carving and stretching. Cracks appear through the stretching and are gently encouraged. Theyre finished by layering coloured slips and underglazes. This process makes it one of a kind. Due to the porous nature of the clay these pieces are not suitable for holding water. Measures approximately 5"dia x 3"h.
