These Madagascan yellow Opals were a labour of love from the beginning of the cutting process to their unique finish. This opal field is relatively new and was discovered in 1979 in a place called Bemia in Madagascar. These are true opal, like Mexican fire opal, Ethiopian Opal or Australian opal but only rarely do they have multicolored fire in them. Usually they are a solid color, like mine are. The shape of this cut gives the stone
