The whip has its original open keeper in leather and a braided leather thong with a  cord lash

It has blue cloth boards

The mouthpiece half of the horn can slide into the bell half for ease of storage

There is also a strap on the back with a brass D-ring on each end

1921 Antique Swaine & Adeney Hunting Whip - w1788 april25 Townsend & AdamsThis whip has a staghorn handle. There is a silver button on the heel of the staghorn which is stamped "Swaine & Adeney Ltd. London". It has a silver collar with ribbed edges, this is stamped "Swaine" and hallmarked London 1921. The collar is engraved "C. C. from J. C. 8 6 21" . The stock or shaft is covered in brown braided linen or hemp thread. It has a stitched leather keeper and a pale braided leather thong with a bound end and a cord lash
