Lyonnaise silk motif from 18th century - Pattern 5 Jewelry This drawstring bag is madeThis is a unique piece made from 18th or early 19th century "Lyonnaise" French silk. We salvaged these remarkable pieces from an old handmade spread that we sourced from France. The maker used different silk combinations in each one. The variety of silks that have been incorporated suggest that these were perhaps scraps left after clothing was made. These rare and exquisite pieces are antique and showing their age, but still beautiful and strong
