There is a dark circle on the heel of the staghorn there would once have been a silver maker's button in this position. It has a silver collar hallmarked London 1899. It also has the silversmith's stamp "JRC" and the maker's stamp "Callow". The collar has many dents and dings, it has an engraving but this is illegible under the dents. The stock or shaft is made of red brown segmented cane. It has
