1931 Ladies Leather Hunting Whip with Thong - w1676 dec23 The stirrup was constructed inThis elegant whip has a staghorn handle. It has a silver collar with ribbed edges which is stamped "T,C.& Co" (Thomas Chetland & Company) and hallmarked Birmingham 1931. It is engraved "E. M. Wilson, 1932"There are a few small scrapes on one edge of the collar. The stock or shaft is covered in braided red brown leather. It has its original stitched leather keeper and a fine thong with a pale cord cord lash. The thong is much finer than modern examples
