WWI 1915 British Military Spare Horseshoe Case with Sword Frog - Cav038 print this is hallmarked London 1901A dark tan leather case which would attach to the saddle. On the outside there is a leather loop or sword frog. It closes with a brass stud and there is a brass stud on the frog. The case has been used, there are two small gouges on the flap and a pinhole and some insect damage on the back. Inside there is the pocket for spare nails. The girth strap is stamped " eathmachin & Co. Walsall 1915" . Dimensions (not including girth strap): 6" (16. 5cm) x
