M. D." with "Baltimore" to both ends. Interior label to back panel of the lid for "I. Rue Scribe Paris Louis Vuitton 149 New Bond St. LONDON". Replaced lock, all original hardware stamped. Interior is a deep ribbon cage, presumably for hats.
