This 19th century heavy steel curb bit has fixed curved cheeks

There are three solder marks on the top of the cap - possibly a badge or further decoration was once attached to it

It has a high port stamped "49"

It has a medium height port which holds a thick roller between two wire rings

They are in good condition

They have integral suspension loops which show some wear. The metal has some dents and scars from use. There are no maker's marks or stamps.
