These spurs have short necks with very small rowels that hardly protrude from the bulbous ends

There is a crown shaped "gatepusher" in the top of the handle

They are decorated with leaves, berries and an ear of corn or maize. Each stirrup has a flattened iron band around its centre which holds a ridged suspension bar. There are old woodworm holes in the wood, but this has been treated and is long dead.
