A beautiful and colorful sunrise appears in the distance as the South Fork Kishwaukee River slowly and smoothly moves along through the landscape picking up the reflections of that sunrise and trees of oak and box elder along with the dam from the busy beavers handy work at Wildflower Park

comes the bridge over Eakin Creek West that is between mature box elder trees and a couple of elderberry bushes

PEACE OF MIND Size:8x12 FINE ART PAPER The early morning sunlight illuminatesAfter receiving 2 3 inches of snow during the morning hours, I set out to photograph this recent snowfall along Eakin Creek West on this Sunday afternoon. The temperature was in the mid 20's with a mild wind of 5 8 mph. It was mostly overcast with some sun breaks. The soft lighting during this time made for some nice images of the box elder trees and their reflections onto Eakin Creek West. (685 3443)
