It's an impressive purple black in colour, with impressively concentrated blackberry and plum aromas and flavours. Full bodied and rounded, with tight structure but not too dry, with fantastic freshness and great length on the palate. Varvaglione makes this from around 85% Negroamaro and 15% Malvasia Nera.
