This statue was created under the close supervision of the art director and monster designer of Silent Hill 2, Masahiro Ito. Ito and the sculptor Akao teamed up to create this highly detailed piece. The imposing upright posture of Pyramid Head, with his long spear in hand, recreates the iconic image as seen in the painting Misty Day, Remains of the Judgment
