This is a rare Bolo Mauser C 96 holster, or pistolera, made of thick pigskin, nicely decorated with incised feathers, rooster's head, diamonds forming a cross. I won't lie, the exact origin is unknown to me, so I would surmise that it dates from the early 1900s, Mexican Revolution period, to the 1930s, the Spanish Civil War.
