Logically, we would have to conclude that the designers (who will generally want cards with equal CMC, equal rarity, and equal power and toughness to be equally strong UNLESS they have ulterior motives like wanting to encourage players to use new mechanics more than older ones or are just attempting to make a "bad" card) believe that dabbing once is worth about the same as flossing three times
While there's no pretending that these are the most expensive promos we've ever seen in the Pokemon TCG, they're some affordable gems you'll want to collect sooner rather than later
The card does a nice job of tying these two elements together flavorfully, but what actually I most enjoy is that it creates these neat Johnny deck-building moments
This black creature works with tokens, so you can have a nice engine in some aristocrat decks
Whether this happened or not is up for some debate, but it makes for a great story, and likely contributes to its high price
