At the end of the day, it's all about the Gathering, not losing friends
And I know that's a personal taste thing and if you like powerful Coin Flip then I'm happy for you, but it's not for me
In a Rakdos deck that can reliably cast it, Demigod of Revenge is a scary way to close out a game against pesky blue mages (like me) who think theyre safe at a measly 10 life
Ral, Monsoon Mage / Ral, Leyline Prodigy I give a lot of credit to Ral, Monsoon Mage for having a planswalker's +1 ability before earning the spark, and the cost reduction feeds right into playing multiple instants or sorceries
