While it could use some protection (enter Temple Altisaur), being able to discover X once per turn based on the toughness of a Dino entering the battlefield is a huge play, and one that can snowball into an easy victory if your deck is stacked the right way

Of course, this card goes best in decks that want to disavow the one land per turn limitation via cards such as Uro, Exploration, Azusa, Risen Reef, or any other land-ramping cards that run rampant through Commander
Ending the turn takes some unpacking for what it actually means, but when everything goes to the graveyard from the wipe, theres no time for death triggers to resolve, which can be huge upside
