Considering every other card is underwhelming when placed next to "Valkyria, Guardian of the Spell Force", I suppose this is alright, and considering the Costs of Discarding will prime you to Special Summon the Dark Magicians, there's not too much to complain about, though they're mostly Dead Ends, completely overshadowed by the "Valkyria" line
