Hostage Taker may be somewhat under the radar, since its a blue and black creature, but when you remember that last set we had The Scarab God, and now theres Hostage Taker, playing a U/B creature deck starts to look more and more intriguing

Also, it's not used nearly as much anymore simply because cards that could remove things in the Spell/Trap zone at the end of your turn, if you go second, are more prevalent nowadays (Cosmic Cyclone, Twin Twisters, Mystical Space Typhoon, etc)

But, I try not to assume too much nor presume to have a firm grip on the cosmos, the world, the current American political regime, or opening seven draw probabilities

Basically there is one card, maybe two every set worth preordering and I think its Deepglow Skate this time

It's such a funny mess for Wizards to find itself in, and I've been buzzing to see how it'll be handled
