Coniferous Confusion Handplane 1 Surfboard curly sapele and sycamore fromThis fish shaped, performance handplane includes is made entirely from reclaimed conifer species: spruce offcuts from Santa Cruz Guitar Company, Doug fir from John Steinbeck's Western Flyer boat, redwood, pine, red cedar, and Alaskan yellow cedar from a Monterey Bay Aquarium bench. It's glassed with Aerialite fiberglass and Entropy Super Sap Epoxy bio resin which is non toxic and is made using a tree sap base. The hand strap is nylon and adjustable.
