The Early Bird by Victoria Ash oil Original Acrylic and texture medium'The Early Bird' 10x12ins Canvas At the start, the whole of this canvas was covered with layers of collage made up of an old botanical book and music sheets. Doing this in layers allowed me to cut away sections of the collage leaving interesting little 'snippets' that depict light shafts, drawing your eye to the black bird.
