The Roosevelt card features portions of his stationery as NY Governor assembled to look like an oversized business card. Roosevelt's fountain pen ink signature is mounted beneath individual cuts featuring the NY State seal alongside the words "State of New York Executive Chamber" and "Franklin D. Roosevelt Governor". Roosevelt was encouraged to run for Governor by New York
