内容简介　　中国的造园艺术在世界上有着重要的影响。中国园林独特的空间艺术语言体现了人类与大自然的亲和关系，也反映了中国人对淡泊、宁静和美好生活的追求。《中国园林（英文版）》由清华大学建筑系教授、名园林学家楼庆西撰写，叙述中国园林发展与变迁的历史，评说皇家园林、江南文人园林、寺院园林等类型园林的特色及造园技巧，并结合中国社会和历史发展的背景，讲述园林与传统文化的内在联系。作者简介　　楼庆西，1930年生。1952年毕业于清华大学建筑系，留校任教至今，现为清华大学建筑学院教授。长期从事中国建筑历史的研究与教学工作。主要著作有：《中国宫殿建筑》、《中国建筑艺术全集·建筑装修与装饰》、《中国建筑的门文化》、《建筑摄影》（高等学校教材）、《凝视一楼庆西建筑摄影集》等。
