Y.Z. Kami: Blue Dome Sergey Harutoonian 66 between Oklahoma and LosY. Z. Kami created Blue Dome, an iteration of his Dome paintings, in 2016. It recalls the concentric forms the artist saw in Persian architecture as a teenager, and later observed in Byzantine churches and basilicas. For Kami, the dome inspires contemplation and is a metaphor for the heavens.
