Vintage Elkhorn by Getzen: The Planets natural horn bell throat inner diameter: 2-13/32The Getzen horn that donated this bell was built to last. Labeled "Elkhorn by Getzen", its 80727 serial number dates it to 1956. The bell has been delacquered, cleaned, and fitted with an Alexander ring. Seven planets, one representing each movement of Gustav Holst's The Planets, have been created and soldered onto the outer bell surface: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter (including 4 Galilean moons), Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
