The technique involves impressing patterns into carefully selected layers of polymer clay that are then carefully sliced very thin, placed on a new support layer. Each bead is then carefully formed by hand and covered with small pieces of the coloured clay layer then reshaped. Each bead is pierced by hand before baking and the
